Thor through Kimberly’s Eyes:
Thor made a big impression when he met my parents for the first time by bringing a completed “Application to Date Your Daughter” as a joke. I knew in that moment that my life with him would be full of laughter, surprises, and a remarkable love.
I couldn’t be more proud of the successful computer business that Thor opened 11 years ago. He not only provides for our family but includes us in the business, with me designing ads and Jacob learning the latest technology as a big helper in the shops.
Thor's business proudly supports many community organizations.
Thor makes his own schedule which means he can attend pre-school recitals, enjoy family vacations or just spend a sunny afternoon at the zoo with us. A kid at heart, Thor can barely wait to open presents at Christmas. This summer he demonstrated how a new Slip ‘n Slide works by sliding fully clothed through the water and into the pool.
Let's a go trick-or-treating!
On a crisp fall afternoon you can find Thor & Jacob racing matchbox cars, making silly videos, or playing football among the leaves in our backyard. I love to stand outside Jake’s bedroom door at night and just listen to Thor reading bedtime stories, giving each book its own sound effects and voices.
Thor and Jake share an unbelievable bond and I can’t wait to peek into the nursery to see him quietly swaying another baby to sleep in his arms.

Kimberly through Thor’s Eyes:
Kim is the love of my life, my best friend, a supportive wife and unbelievable mother. Her
generous heart endears her to everyone she knows whether she’s planning a surprise party for a friend or driving to Illinois to teach her Grandma how to use a digital camera.
Kim imagined a cowboy birthday party for Jake and her creation transformed our living room into a old western town!
Kimberly worked for many years as a wedding photographer capturing stolen kisses and soothing nervous brides, one time even kicking off her shoes to climb into a fountain for the perfect shot.
These days Kim enjoys kicking off her shoes in our big backyard a game of tickle monster tag with Jake and looks forward to soothing a new baby to sleep with her beautiful singing voice.
Kim enjoys adventures both close to home & on family vacations.
Kim’s creativity fills our home from her garden to the seasonal decorations she crafts. She creates and sells beautiful Diaper Cakes in her spare time so she knows where to find the cutest baby clothes.
Kim loves being a stay at home mom and I look forward to watching her, baby on hip, pointing out the tomatoes in her garden or a bird in its nest.
Jacob through Mom & Dad’s eyes:
Our sweet, loving, and clever son, Jacob, fills our hearts beyond measure. His happy blue eyes only hint at his great big heart.
Excited to become a big brother, we can already see Jacob encouraging first steps, singing You are my Sunshine, and reading his favorite book, Bear Snores On, to a little brother or sister.

An active and imaginative child, Jacob excels in preschool. He loves splashing in the pool on a hot summer day and just curling up on the couch with us and a big bowl of popcorn to watch a movie.
Jake gives the best hugs and always knows how to get you laughing; we think those are the makings of a great older brother. We enjoy visits with his first mom and his big smile and easy going personality remind us of her.
An experience he will never forget
We are close to our own sisters and can’t wait to see him sharing PB&J sandwiches, make-believe adventures, and a lifetime of memories with his little brother or sister.
