3 Peas In A Pod

We are 3 peas in a pod!  We genuinely love our little family and can’t wait to add a baby to our fun-filled days.  There aren’t words to express how much we love being parents.   Every night we sneak into Jacobs’ room and kiss his sleeping head, grateful that we are his parents and excited to see what adventures tomorrow will bring him.

We met 8 years ago and a year later married under a big green umbrella.  Instead of a traditional ceremony we had a luau themed wedding.  Our friends and family wore Hawaiian shirts and danced the night away in a hall decorated with bright flower leis and grass skirts.

We are a team in everything we do from changing a doorknob at our first house, to potty training Jacob, and writing this letter today.

Thor & I grew up in loving, fun, and close-knit families and we want to give your baby the kind of life experiences we’ve had. As a family we enjoy hikes and picnics at the state park, going to movies, bowling, and even strolling through the farmers market on Saturday morning.  We love to experience special events like the circus, the fair, and holiday parades.  During the week Kim and Jake enjoy play dates with his cousin, art classes at the childrens’ museum, and exploring the amazing Omaha zoo.

We relish the once in a lifetime experiences that traveling as a family provides like hiking a random trail to a breathtaking waterfall or enjoying s’mores and a campfire sing along with Chip and Dale.  We’ll never forget the tears of joy in Jacob’s eyes as he hugged Pluto for the first time and we can’t wait to visit Disney World soon!

As parents we will pass on the same morals we were taught as children, the value of hard work, the benefits of education, and the strength that comes from family.

We promise to encourage your child’s imagination, create opportunities for learning, and support his/her dreams as we have always done for each other.
