Family Tree
We both come from wonderful families who love us and are supportive of us adopting. They love Jacob and cannot wait to welcome a new addition to our family. Our families live close by which means our children will always have the support and love of a big family.
Kim’s parents are eager to sing a sweet new baby to sleep and take him/ her out for the first taste ice cream!
Jacob enjoys trips to the putting green with Papa and playing in the giant forts Nana makes from blankets and chairs in her living room. Kim’s Uncle who is “adopted” into the family can’t resist spoiling his great nephew.
Great Grandma “Gigi” lives a few hours away and is eager to hold another precious great grand baby in her arms. A weekend trip to visit Gigi means time spent playing with many cousins in Kim’s large extended family.
Thor’s Grandma Grace takes us all to the county fair every year and we love to see her whenever we can. She’s always ready with a pie and a game of scrabble when we come to visit. Grandpa is already lining up a new coin collection to pass on and Grandma is anxiously waiting to shop for little outfits in pink or blue.
Thor & I each have a younger sister which means Jacob has two adoring Aunts and Uncles and two cousins close in age to play with. We have a nephew on the way and another boy/girl soon to follow so your baby will have built in playmates and friends for life.
And our Friends:
Our friends are like a second family. We are blessed to have other parents close to us to share experiences with and to pass along advice or outgrown outfit. It brings us all joy to see our children playing together at a backyard birthday party just as we dreamed they would. We know our friends and all of our little nieces & nephews are eager to celebrate another adoption with us.
